I am a sophmore at RIT, the Rochester Institute of Technology, studying New Media Design. What's New Media Design? It's the new ways in which design and media are transformind with technology. While the pencil and paper remain my favorite tools, I also use programs like photoshop, illustrator, and flash to make designs that are either static and interesting to the eye, or a flash movie or interactive that conveys a message to the watcher.
